Geography

Geography at Millfield encourages children to explore the world around them. With Courage, they investigate new environments; with Ambition, they develop geographical skills; with Respect, they value different cultures and environments; with Excellence, they analyse and present findings; and with Spirit, they cultivate a sense of curiosity and wonder about the planet.

The curriculum balances local, national, and global studies. Pupils learn about human and physical geography, map skills, and the impact of human activity on the natural world.

By studying geography, children gain an appreciation for the beauty and complexity of Earth, and an understanding of their responsibility as global citizens.
